Corner #1

14 Floor border: P014 Park Slope 1885 
From a hall. A double twisted ribbon. The ribbons are tight enough that there is no hole in the middle. See measured drawing. You can calculate the pieces for here by using the spreadsheet and setting A to 0, C to 1.325825, and D to 0.

54 Floor border: P054 Crown Heights North I 1894 
Pieces assembled in the opposite direction of the previous. You can calculate the pieces for here by using the spreadsheet and setting A to 0, C to =2+19/32, and D to 0. Giving a pattern width of 7-5/16".

77 Floor border: P077 West Midwood 1905 
Ribbons are 2-1/2" wide. Pattern width is 7". Inner field is straight fingerblock with slats of 1" in a 12" square.

212 Floor border: P212 Fiske Terrace 1905 
Ribbon width is 2-1/2". Pattern border is about 6-15/16" wide. Surrounding is 1-1/2" oak, 5/8" mahogany, and 2" oak. Inner field is diagonal fingerblock with 1-3/8" wide slats in 12-3/8" square.

92 Floor border: P092 Crown Heights South 1913 
Ribbons are 2-1/16" wide. Pattern width is 6". Inner field is diagonal fingerblock in 2" slats in 12" squares.

254 Floor border: P254 Ditmas Park Historic District, circa 1905 

121 Floor border: P121 Crown Heights South 1913 
A larger version of this pattern. Pattern border is 7" wide. Parallelogram is 2-1/2" high. Border repeat is 3-1/2". Inner field is 1-1/4" slat in fingerblock.

171 Floor border: P171 West Midwood 1906 
A different corner. Ribbons are 2-1/2" wide. Pattern border is 7". Surrounded by 1-1/2" oak, 1/2" mahogany, 1-3/4" oak. Inner field is 2" slats laid diagonally.

240 Floor border: P240 Midwood Park circa 1930 
Bands are 15/16" oak, 3/8" maple, and 15/16" oak. Surrounded by the same banding. Inner field is diagonal fingerblock with four 2" slats in an 8" square.

249 Floor border: P249 Prospect-Lefferts Gardens Historic District 1907

73 Floor border: P073 Midwood Park 1905 
Ribbons are 2-1/8" wide. Pattern width is 6". Inner field is fingerblock with 1-1/2" slats in probably a 10" square.

103 Floor border: P103 Stuyvesant Heights Historic District 1899 
Ribbons are 2-1/8" wide. Pattern width is 6". Inner field is diagnonal fingerblock with 1-1/2" wide slats in 12" square.

195 Floor border: P195 Prospect Heights Historic District 1897 
Pattern border is 6" wide. Bands are 2-1/8" wide. Surrounding is 2", 1-1/2", and 2". Inner field is diagonal fingerblock with 1-3/8" wide slats in a 12" or 12-3/8" square

196 Floor border: P196 Prospect Heights Historic District 1897 
Pattern border is 4" wide. Surrounding is 1", 1" and 2". Inner field is diagonal fingerblock with 1-1/4" slats in a 7-1/2" square.


Unknown Corners

162 Floor border: P162 Ditmas Park 1908 
Unusual for the ribbon to be striped on this design. Very lovely. The inner maple band is 1-1/4" wide. Outer bands are 5/8" wide. Surrounding the twist is 1/2" maple, 2" oak, and 1-3/8" mahogany.

66 Floor border: P066 Ditmas Park 1904 
Ribbons are 2-1/2" wide. Feature strips are 1-1/2", 1-1/2", 1-3/4". Inner field is diagonal slats 1-3/4" wide.

75 Floor border: P075 West Midwood 1905 
All corners were covered. Ribbons are 2-1/2" wide. Pattern width is 7". Inner field is straight slats of 1-3/8".

116 Floor border: P116 Prospect Park South Historic District 1903 
6" wide border. Hypotenuse of side right triangles are 2-7/8". Border stripes are 2", 3/4", 1-1/2". Inner field is 1-1/2" slats diagonal.
